Wishing You a Beautiful and Meaningful Easter

As the long weekend is now here, I want to take a moment to wish the Mumma Chelles community a very happy and peaceful Easter.

One of the most beautiful things about our community is the diversity of families within it. We all bring our own unique traditions, beliefs, and ways of celebrating to this time of year.

For many families, this weekend is a deeply spiritual time, marking the Christian celebration of Easter. For our Greek Orthodox families, preparations are underway for your own sacred Easter celebrations in the coming weeks - including the tradition of the beautiful red eggs, which carry such a meaningful message of life, resurrection, and new beginnings.

For others, this long weekend is simply a much-needed pause—a chance to step away from the busy school and work routines, enjoy a few hot cross buns, and focus on spending quality time together as a family.

No matter how you choose to spend these next few days, my hope is that they bring you exactly what you need. Whether that is the joy of a morning egg hunt, the quiet reflection of a church service, or just the luxury of a slow morning with nowhere to be, I hope your weekend is filled with warmth and connection.
